Reap What You Sow (reapwhatyousow.life) is a record-keeping app for homesteaders. It is run by Sarah Galler in New Hampshire, USA. This page explains, in plain language, what information the app keeps, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@reapwhatyousow.life.

The short version

What we collect

How we use it

Who helps us run the app

We use a small number of service providers, who may handle your information only to provide their service to us:

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it otherwise only if the law requires it, to protect the safety of people or the service, or if the app is ever transferred to a new owner, who would have to keep this policy's promises or ask you first.

Information about other people

If you record details about other people, such as a customer's name, please only enter what you have a right to keep. We treat it as part of your records and use it only to run the app for you.

How long we keep it

Your choices

Security

Information travels encrypted (https) and is stored encrypted. Access is limited to what each part of the app needs, sign-in is handled by Google, and backups are checked every night. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a problem affects it.

Children

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. If we learn that someone under 13 has created an account, we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For important changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
